Configuration Files

Settings regarding vrecko itself and not individual scenes are saved in configuration files with a .cfg extension. They define mainly

  • screen resolution and windowed/full screen mode,
  • stereoscopic display parameters,
  • anti-aliasing level.

These parameters can significantly influence the speed (i.e. frame rate) at which vrecko runs.

If the user doesn’t specify otherwise, vrecko.cfg is used. There are other configurations available, for example vrecko_fullscreen.cfg and several variants created for use with different stereoscopic devices.

Consult the content of configuration files to find out which one suits your application the most or create a new one.
