This technique allows to design “string sculputres” by interactive definition of a frame of sculpture (consisting of one or more “hoops”) and by definition of stringing between these hoops. For test of sculpture “tensegrity” we are using physical simulations based on NVIDIA PhysX engine.

We have been inspired by work of David Press. Specifically by his papers in Hyperseeing Journal: String Sculptures and String Sculpture – New Work.
